Do we really beleive that we are here to gather as much stuff as we can have kids and die leaving all our earthy wealth to give to the next generation? Or is there another bigger purpose for our lives? As we look at creation and relationships and the word of God how can we deny the presence of God in our lives? Do you beleive that Jesus Christ died and rose again to be with His Father in heaven as the bible says. Do you beleive that we are living in sin? Do you beleive that God sent His son to bear the burden of our sin and to be the perfect sacrifice so that our communion with God can be re established that was lost from the sin of Adam & Eve? Do you beleive that if we call upon the name of Christ Jesus that we will be saved? I do beleive that and would like to talk with you about it. Romans Chapter 10 vs 13 says that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved". That is a great place to start our discussion. God Bless You

There are no gods.
Personally, I think that most people live as if there is a god. They think their faults are curable by just bowing to a cross. They waste this life planning for when they’re dead. They don’t care much about what happens in this world because they think its just a temporary holdover. They don’t care what they do to others that don’t have the same superstitions they do. They feel a divine obligation to meddle in the affairs of others especially if it brings others happiness that they don’t approve of, but get thin skin if anybody critiques their own beliefs.

If I live my life doing good, being kind, helping people, and loving people, telling them about God’s love, I’ve hurt no one. But if I live my life only concerned about my own selfish needs never helping, being kind or loving anyone but myself. Then I die and find out there is a judgement….I can’t get a do over!
Personally, I would rather live my life like there IS a God and then die only to find out there isn’t. Than to live my life as if there is NO God and die only to find out there IS!

Because there is none. Period.
Our purpose, seen from an evolutionary point of view, is to pass on our genes. To be fertilized. However, we can turn it into much, much more than that! We all have the power to decide what WE want for our lives, as individuals.
And yeah.. When we die, that’s it. The next generations take over. Personally, I think that’s actually really beautiful. Too bad you’re unable to see it.

There is no "creation". The world was developed through evolution, the big bang, abiogenesis.. Look up those. At least those are the hypotheses. And they seem very logical to me. Evolution for once, can easily be proven. Just look at the fossil records.
"Sin" does not exist. So luckily, I won’t have to worry about that. I don’t care what the bible says. I don’t believe in the bible…
And frankly, this is as long of an answer as you’re going to get. I’m tired of typing it all out, and I guess you probably won’t listen to me anyway.. *Sigh*.
EDIT: I have already tried to "call on the name of the Lord". I was a Christian. For more than a year.. Then I realized what a delusion it all was. I know where you’re coming from. I have already been there, done that.

People live as if there was no God because this world, the society in which we live in, is controlled not by God, but by Satan, who seeks to blind everyone into believing this is all there is to life. Materialism is one thing designed to crowd out people looking for more in life
Also rising crime, injustice, poverty, war, sickness and natural disasters lead people to question if there is a God, because they have not been told the whole truth about Gods purpose and why suffering is permitted

People don’t believe because they lost faith somehow. Like if there was a god, why did this happen?
I honestly believe in God, because if you saw Jesus do incredible things for your sins, you would want to write it too. But since that is 2000 years ago, people don’t really believe in it. No idea why.. If there was no god, why is there faith, karma, and destiny >_>.. In a simple question: Why do things happen as a coincidence?…
People are blind to see reason really. Almost every single person who answers this says there is No god. WHY DO THINGS HAPPEN AS IT IS!? People in church don’t go after your money [like scientology] people in church go to help you, they come together to love and keep faith! Yet some people just laugh at how much they commit to this. There is nothing wrong with saying how you love something that might not exist.
WHY Would you even try to post to say how you don’t believe in god? It is opinions here, but there should also be answers. Why do people live as if there was no god? and why would they FREAKING post they don’t believe in god yet don’t give an answer WHY!? There are some that say how he is imaginary and no proof that he actually exists. >_> Yet they should question their own belief rather than question ours.
Sorry to say this, but it is my opinion and I dont regret how many negatives I get. I believe in god and I’m damn well proud of it.
